Dr. Gabor Farkas Dr. Gabor A. Farkas II was born and raised in Newark, Delaware. While attending Salesianum High School he ran cross country, and was a co-captain of the winter and spring track teams. He was ranked as one of the top pole-vaulters in the state, as well as achieving All-County status. Due to an athletic injury he received during his high school years, Dr. Farkas was left in pain and sitting sidelined. As a result of his injury he sought treatment from a local Chiropractor. After receiving chiropractic care Dr. Farkas became pain free and was able to return to athletics again. This life changing event made him realize that this was the profession that he wanted to pursue. These events made Dr. Farkas realize that the body can heal itself with the proper care. His passion for chiropractic and nutrition has led him to take a whole body approach to his treatments.

After graduating high school, Dr. Farkas moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he performed his undergraduate studies at Life University Chiropractic College. Shortly thereafter, he transferred to Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic in April, 2008. Dr. Farkas performed a clinical rotation with Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston, Texas, Rheumatology department under Dr. Martin D Lidsky, MD. After graduation he married his wife Melody in Houston, Texas. Dr. Farkas holds professional licensure in Texas and Delaware, as well as seeking his Diplomate in Clinical Nutrition, upon completion he will be board certified from the American Clinical Board of Nutrition. He was also certified in 2008 as a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. Dr. Farkas provides nutritional consultations tailored to each individuals dietary or nutritional needs . The Chiropractic approach he uses to treat is “Motion Palpation”. He utilizes the Diversified Technique for his chiropractic adjustments, and treats extremity complaints as well. Physical modalities that Dr. Farkas provides in his office are Gua Sha, K-Laser Therapy, physical rehabilitation, pain management, as well other modalities.

He currently resides in Pasadena with his wife Melody and their dog. He enjoys weight lifting in the early mornings, swimming, and running on the weekends. He enjoys time spent with his wife’s family at their second home on Galveston Island. Dr. Farkas is committed to helping his community and learning how he can help those around him.
